Mangalore :  Mohammad Mansoor Sakhafi (29), Khateeb of Delampady Jumma Masjid lost his life when the bike he was riding was hit by a  lorry on NH 75 at Farangipete on August 9, Friday.

Mansoor was going towards BC Road when the lorry loaded with timber hit his bike near the fish market at Farangipete. Though a critically injured Mansoor was rushed to the hospital,he was declared brought dead.

He was a resident of Belma near Deralakatte and was on way to Nandavar to bring back home his wife who had gone to her parent’s house for Eid celebrations.

Bantwal rural police have registered a case.
