Bengaluru: A delegation led by MP Oscar Fernandes met CM Siddaramaiah and discussed about the problems that are being faced by the people of coastal region, on Saturday at CM’s home office ‘Krishna’.
Ministers Ramanath Rai, U T Khader, Pramod Madhwaraj and others were also the part of delegation.
After the meeting Oscar Fernandes said that the delegation have discussed about the separate sand policy, development of fisheries department, 9/11 confusion and others. CM has promised to hold another meeting to discuss about the possible solutions for the problems.
“Coastal people should live in harmony instead of creating communal violence. Harish Poojary and Praveen Pojaary death are serious matters. We need to find solution for those also,” he said.
Further commenting on Ramya’s statement he said that he haven’t heard her saying Mangaluru is hell, “I have heard that she compared Mangaluru with the heaven,” he added.
