NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Friday detained two suspects in connection with the Rs 7.69 crore heist in New Delhi, according to TV reports.
The total number of accused are likely to be between ten and twelve, sources said, adding that all the accused in the case have been identified.
Six people had robbed Rs 7.69 crore in cash from the business partner and manager of a Delhi-Gurgaon-based businessman near Lajpat Nagar in south Delhi and hijacked the car in which he was going with four other employees on Tuesday.
“We are investigating from all angles and the case will be cracked soon,” Delhi police commissioner BS Bassi had told reporters on January 30.
