Bangalore: The Lokayukta court on September 4, Tuesday has issued summons to former CM BS Yeddyurappa, his son BY Raghavendra and five others in the land denotification case in Bhadravathi. The court has directed all the accused to appear in person before the court on September 25.
The other accused in this case are B K Somashekhar, his wife B S Uma Devi, B K Radhamani, Adi Lakshmamma and one H V Manjunath, who was asked to execute the sale deed in favour of Dhavalagiri Properties, owned by Yeddyurappa’s family members.
The petitioner one Vinod had alleged that Yeddyurappa had misused office and denotified 69 acres of land at Bhadravathi in 2010. He had also accused Yeddyurappa of using benamidars to get the lands transferred in the name of Dhavalagiri Properties.
The petitioner had further alleged that more than 250 acres of forest land at the Reserve Forest in Bhadravathi was denotified between 2010-2011.
