Bangalore : No sooner Jagadish Shettar was elected the BJP Legislative Party leader , allegations of illegal denotification are heard against him.

Talakadu Chikkarangegowda of Karnataka Jana Jagrithi Vedike has accused  HD Kumarswamy and Jagadish Shettar  of illegal denotification of land during the BJP-JD(S) Coalition government.

He has accused Shettar of unauthorized denotification  of  land acquired by the government for construction of APMC in Dasadanapra in Bangalore north taluk,  and then selling it to some other person.

Rangegowda said a Lokayukta complaint would be lodged and clarified that there is no ulterior motives of leveling such an allegation at a time when Shettar was becoming the chief minister of the state. He said there was a delay in placing the details before the media as he had to avail necessary documents.

He said if the 188 acre land had been acquired in 2004,  it was denotifiied in 2006 by Shettar and presently private buildings have come up in the place.
