Bangalore: Hassan MP and JDS supremo HD Devegowda requested the state Governor Hans Raj Bharadwaj to dismiss the BJP Govt of BS Yeddyurappa (CM) in view of Supreme Court injunctions and order nullifying the suspension of 16 MLA’s so long in wilderness due to Speaker Bopaiah’s action against them. There are 11 BJP MLAs and 5 independents (who lost minister ships). The disqualification of 16 MLAs by Speaker of Karnataka was a constitutional fraud on people, Devegowda told the Governor and urged him to take a decision on BJP govt’s dismissal immediately. Gowda said SCI had rebuked the BJP rulers. He demanded Bopaiah’s resignation as Speaker now, to protect the House prestige. CM has announced on Friday (May 13) that a 10-day Budget session would start from May 16. He has won 3 by-polls now.
