Belthangady : There has been resentment against the statement of KJP Publicity Committee President Dhananjaya Kumar within the KJP. H Subbaiah Shetty, Party’s state Executive Committee Member who met the party chief BS Yeddyurappa who is undergoing treatment at the Manjunatheshwara Naturopathy Hospital at Dharmasthala, and  later issued a statement condemning Dhananjaya’s statement which said that  even BJP is not an untouchable to the KJP in the changed political scenario, Dhananjaya had also stated that it has been decided to  enter into alliance with BJP and other parties in the interests of the KJP.

Condemning the statement Subbayya Shetty said Dhananjaya was an expert in making out of the way statements beyond his limits and strongly condemned the same. He said Dhananjaya also did not have any authority do make decisions pertaining to the party.

Vasanth Bangera meets Yeddy : Meanwhile, Belthangady MLA Vasanth Bangera met Yeddyurappa on June 20, Thursday. This is said to be a goodwill meeting. Town Panchayat Members Muguli Narayan Rao, Santosh Kumar Jain and others were present.
