Dharmasthala: Explaining the anti-corruption movement of the people led by Anna Hazare since.Aug.16, the Dharmadhikari (CEO) of Dharmasthala Temple, Dr.D.V.Heggade told pressmen here on Saturday that Anna fought against wholesale corruption, and not against an elected central(UPA) government.
He said it was a good development to clean up Indian political/business stables reeking with unhealthy opportunism to grab money and materials.
Dr.Heggde added that the movement would succeed only, if it continued against corrupt methods. He asked the press met to create negative feelings (of emotion), among who wanted smooth and enriched governance in democracy.
Heggade felt that the Jan Lokpal Bill could prevent corruption, but people have to work hard to check corrupt ways at their nearest levels, so all the trash could be weeded out as it gathered.
