Mangaluru : More than 50 lakh food kits have been distributed to healthcare workers by Dharmashtala Rural Development scheme on Monday.

Nearly one thousand healthcare workers received food kits at a function held at the MLA office in Mangaluru.

MLA Nalin Kumar Kateel, District in-charge minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary, MLA Vedavyas Kamath, Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar, Harikrishna Bantwal, former District Panchayat Vice President Satish Kumbala, District Asha Supervisor, Kumuda were also present at the event.
