Mangalore :  It has been reliably learnt that Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade  has agreed to be the new traffic ambassador of Karnataka along with cricketer Rahul Dravid.  If everything goes as per plan, the state will see the highly familiar and popular face explaining about road safety rules.

As Heggade is a highly respected leader, attaching  his name to a Road Safety Campaign is expected to deliver positive results.

As a first initiative, Heggade’s photographs along with messages of road safety and adherence to traffic rules will be displayed in banners and buntings.
