Dharmasthala : The Annual Lakshadeepotsava celebrations and other associated festivities would begin at Dharmasthala from November 18 and conclude on November 23.

The festival committee secretary B. Yashovarma said,  the Sarva Dharma and Sahitya Sammelanas, part of the Lakshadeepotsava celebrations since 1933, would have their 82nd edition this time.

The deepotsava celebrations would begin with the inauguration of State-level exhibition on November 18 at 5.30 pm at the exhibition grounds. The exhibition is open for all for the next seven days.

Cultural programmes would enthral the visitors during the evenings at the same ground, Mr. Yashovarma said.

While the Lalithakala Goshti would be held on November 20, the Sarva Dharma Sammelana is slated for November 21 and the Sahitya Sammelana for November 22 followed by Samavasarana Pooja on November 23. Several eminent personalities and dignitaries would attend these conventions, he said.
