Mangalore : M Aslam, president of the district minority wing of Janata Dal (Secular) who recently came out from the party, said that statement given by JD(S) State Vice President Sushil Noronha on the expulsion of some of its members is false.
Speaking at the press meet held on Mar 28, Thursday, he said that he has not been suspended him from his post and not even received the letter regarding it from JD(S) State President H D Kumaraswamy.
Mr Naronha is always a non-cooperative and do not work for the welfare of the party is making baseless allegations against dedicated members such as B Nagaraj Shetty and M G Hegde, who had resigned from the posts.
He also said that Mr Naronha never allow any of the party worker to lead the party successfully. The party had won two seats in the recent urban local body elections due to the effort of few hard-working members.
If the members like Sushil Noronha and M B Sadashiv were at the controller of the district unit, then it will be difficult for the party to win in the coming election, he added.
He also said that he would take decision to continue or quit the party based on the internal conflicts. If given a chance, I would like to contest in the Assembly election, he added.
