Mangalore: A wanted man for murder, in the case of killing the manager of Kanchan Textiles in the city(Dinesh Raj), was arrested by Bunder North Police from Haji Nagar in Gangadharnagar of Bangalore city, as the second accused on Sunday.
Syed Azeez(24), the culprit, was a resident at Haji Nagar, and was detained on the charge of stocking dangerous weapons, to kill Dinesh Raj, who was hacked to death by 4 assailants on February 14 last, when Raj was working in his shop located in city near SBI circle.
The gang of four, had come in a Tata Sumo maroon car with lethal weapons, barged into the shop, and mortally attacked Raj, before slipping out in a hurry. Three arrests out of a possible seven have been made by the city Police so far, the first one being on March 5.
Jalaluddin and Mazar were taken into custody.
A week later, S. Azeez was held captive.
The gang took Supari(contract to kill) to finish Dinesh, but the relatives of the deceased still maintain that it was no “revenge murder”, and that Dinesh had no enemies. The reason thus remains a hard-nut to crack.
