Mangaluru : The Karnataka Ayurveda and Unani Practitioners’ Board on Saturday raided Amruta Dispensary on K.S. Rao Road and found out that the medical practitioner K. Ganesh was practicing without any registration or the required qualification.
Board Registrar Thimmappa Shettigar and a team of officials from the Board seized the material from the dispensary and sealed the same.
The team registered a case with the Mangaluru North Police Station to initiate suitable action against Ganesh.
In his complaint, Dr. Shettigar said that the Board had directed Ganesh to submit original certificates in February following complaints that he did not possess the required qualification to engage in medical practice. Ganesh produced fake certificates in April this year.
