Bangalore: The RSS for the first time has decided to remove CM Yeddyurappa by executing a plan for his down fall with Santhoshji leading the warriors on to battle , which Yeddyurappa in New Delhi is trying his level best to save his rocking CM Chair. The dissidents in BJP, about 60 of them are rallying round the Hubli Dharwad Minister (and ex-speaker), Jagdish Shettar in a meeting held at his residence.
BJP state unit chief K S Eashwarappa has joined hands with J.Shettar to lead the dissidents in the party who had two rounds of talks. The secret parleys had national secretary H.N.Ananthkumar and ministers S.A.Ramdas, V.Hegde Kageri and former minister Aravinda Limbavali among others to take a stand.
They want someone other than Yeddyurappa at the top, as CM has not paid a visit to RSS office since 4 months, nor bothered about the Puttur meet. This was the right time to throw him out, say the dissidents and RSS leader Santhoshji.
The secret meeting at Shettar’s official house started around 5Pm went on till late at night. The RSS had barred Yeddyurappa from coming to its office unless invited. The meeting considered many a burning issue. The ‘operation Lotus’ is hitting those in cm’s camp at present. They accuse Yeddyurappa of disabling BJP leaders from raising their heads and moving about confidently.
The next step of the dissidents is based upon what happens to leadership of Yeddyurappa in New Delhi at the hands of senior (National) leaders: The party should not suffer when Yeddyurappa loses his cap as skipper. The by-polls also have to be won in 3 areas, the dissident noted. So they have decided to take only careful steps to destabilize Cm Yeddyurappa crack leadership in the state.
