Udupi: The Udupi district police made an arrangement to display the stolen property returning parade of worth Rs 66.82 lakh recovered during the month of April 1 to July 30 and handed over it to the owners at a parade held at the district police headquarters on August 25, Wednesday.
The stolen properties were returned to the owners coming under the jurisdiction of Karkala sub-division, Kundapura sub-division and Udupi division.
The property worth of Rs 24,030,840 out of stolen goods worth Rs 32,71,965 has been recovered and handed over the owners.
The other properties comprised of two Maruthi Omni, Maruthi Car, Bajaj Auto Rikshaw, Kinetic Honda and two mobile sets.
Superintendent of police Praveen Madhukar Pawar, assistant superintendent of police Venkateshappa and deputy superintendent of police Vishwanath Pandit were present at the property return parade.
