Bantwal : The members of BJP staged a massive protest in front of the Bantwal town police station on April 21, Monday, demanding the immediate arrest of culprits who attacked Brahmarakootlu Toll Plaza staff.

Addressing the protestors, MLC Capt. Ganesh Karnik said that the congress regime in the state has shown the breakdown of law and order.

He also said that the Congress government is deeply involved in appeasing only one community and take time to arrest the assaulters of tollgate staff.
The protestors also gheraoed the Bantwal Circle Inspector and demanded SP to meet them. Later Additional SP Shivakumar spoke to the protestors and assured to arrest the assaulters.

MLC Monappa Bhandary, Sullia MLA S Angara, ZP Member Santosh Kumar Rai, Ravindra Kambli, Sadananda Malli, Govind Prabhu, Ronal D’Souza and others were present.
