Mangalore : The congress and JDS leaders who could not tolerate the development taking place in the state flayed with the BJP government by pocketing the Governor, said BJP District president Padmanabha Kottary.
Speaking at the press meet held at District BJP office on Oct 13, Wednesday, said that H D Kumaraswamy has called the ministers and MLA’s to the resort and gave the bribe to them asked not to support them. These five independent MLAs were hiding in various resorts with members of the JD(S).
The situation turned ugly when security men tried to stop these independents helped by the JD(S) legislators, the independents barged through the gate, breaking glass panes. Sneaking in, the independents were heard abusing leaders of the ruling party for letting them down. Later both Congress and JD(S) leaders were seen congratulating the independents for fighting on the floor of the assembly.
The Governor gave the false report that there were 120 MLA’s in front of him, without consideriung the number of MLA’s present in the legal documents. Before asking CM to prove his second trust vote, did the governor prove about experience, hence the Diostrict BJP opposes the Presidential rule in the state, he said.
He said that, BS Yeddyurappa will surely get the majority in the trust vote and will complete his 5 year service as the chief minister and will work for the development of the state.
Some of minister even compared the activities of the Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh to the activities of the SIMI organization, which is condemned, he informed.
He also congratulated the gold winning Women’s Relay team consisting of Ashwini Chidananda of Kundapur and other for their best effort and performance in the Common Wealth Games.
Former president Monappa Bhandary, District Secretary Sanjeev Muthandoor, Nitin Kumar, Jagadish Adhikari, Umanath, district secretary Sathish Kumpala, Shailaja K T Bhat, Shakila Kava, Rajeevi and Rajgopal Rai were present at the press meet.
