Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada BJP staged protest against the statement of Delhi Cm Aravind Kejriwal and former Pakistani cricket player Javed Miandad, on Wednesday in front of BJP office. Kejriwal and Miandad had given offensive statement on Uri attack.
Addressing the protestors BJP leader Monappa Bhandary said that all the Indians should support the brave action by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has given a befitting answer to the Pakistan’s ‘eye for the eye’ policy.
“Entire India has congratulated and supported our soldiers for their brave action against Pakistani terrorist camp through a surgical strike. But Delhi CM Aravind Kejriwal has insulted the army by asking proofs. BJP condemns the statement of Kejriwal as well the question raised by the Congress leaders Chidambaram and Sanjay Nirupam,” he said.
He further said that Congress supreme Sonia Gandhi should expel both Chidambaram and Sanjay from the party, if she has any respect for the country as well as the army. If Kejriwal has any problem with the army then let him go to Pakistan and let him take anyone with him who has problem with the army’s action.
BJP State Vice-President Rahim Uchil said that none of the statements in support to Pakistan will be entertained by the BJP. Salman Khan supports Pakistani actors and demands for the release of their movies in India.
“No matter if we go to jail, we will picket such theatres where Pakistani movies will be displayed and we condemn the statement former Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad’s statement also,” he added.
