Mangaluru: Bahujan Samaj Party, Dakshina Kannada district Committee staged protest against the usage of foul language against BSP national President, Mayavati by BJP MP Dayashankar Singh, on Friday in front of DC Office.
Addressing the gathering District BSP leader Raghu Dharmasen said that BJP claims itself as the protectors of Indian Culture, but their own MP has used foul language against the BSP leader Mayavati.
“We condemn the statement of Dayashankar. His statement shows us about his mentality towards Indian women. The government should register a case against him under protection from atrocities on SC/ST community act. If the government fails to do so, we will sharpen our protest against it,” he said.
He further said that media is also not showing any concern about this matter. A news will be made on a film actor’s illness, but no news carried out by any mode of media in this case.
BSP District President Gopal Mutthur, Vasanth Kakkepadav, Vinod Kumar, Shivaram and others were present in the protest.
