Mangalore : Haji H M Ashraf, chief organizer of DK District Congress Seva Dal urged the Superintendent of Police to re-check the marks cards of police staffs appointed in the year 2011.

Addressing the press meet held at Hotel Woodlands Hall on July 7, Monday, he said that previous year around 150 police officials were appointed in Dakshina Kannada as per the application taken in the year 2010.

He also, said that the police department must re check the marks card and handover the factual details to education department to investigate the issue and suspend the ineligible staffs and provide an opportunity for the eligible applicants to work.

Ashraf said that the such kind of scams were not found in police departments ever before. The appointed police staffs do not even have the minimum knowledge of reading English words, he added.
