Mangalore : The full form of BJP is not Bharathiya Janatha Party but it must be ‘Brasta Janara Paksha’, which means party of corrupt member, said MLA B Ramanath Rai.
Addressing the protestors in front of the DC’s office on December 8, Wednesday, He said that the BJP MLA’s creating blockades in the way of the investigation process of the Lokayukta was like disrespecting democracy, hence the District Congress strongly condemn it.
Further speaking about the Naidu issue, he said that a lot of land has been registered in the name of Naidu’s wife and son. He also said that the BJP members are involved in making as much money as possible because they are unsure of attaining power during the next term.
Every MLA’s in Bangalore owns a house and they claimed that Santhosh Hegde is working for opposition party. The BJP party must start counting their sins like taking commission for the saree, murder of Raghupathi Bhat’s wife, Hallappa and Katta Subramanya Naidu. Harikrishna Bantwal said that BJP, which had promised the people a corruption-free government, has now turned out to be the most corrupt government in the state’s history. He stated that the BJP-led state government is the worst of all governments and that people can never expect anything good from it.
M. G. Hegde, the spokesperson for the Congress, said that the sincere like Santhosh Hegde is not born in past and will not be born in future too.
He also said mutt heads and seers should not try to safeguard a corrupt chief minister and government. Swamiji’s should promote dharma and maintain harmony. They should stay away from politics, he added.
