Mangalore : The district in-charge minister and State Forest Minister B Ramanatha Rai inaugurated the National Consumer Fair at Karavali Utsav Grounds on September 6, Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rai wished the fair be a success and said that the people can get various item required for their house under one roof.
Minister for youth affairs and the fisheries, Abhayachandra Jain inaugurated the exhibition stalls.
MLA J.R Lobo, MLC Ivan D’Souza, Mayor Mahabala Marla, Deputy Mayor Kavitha Salian, the director of the Consumer Fare Gautham, Cine star Ester Noronha and others were present on the occasion.
The exhibition comprises of around 220 stalls, offering discounts and offers on automobiles, home appliances, kitchen appliances, chimneys, hobs, solar products, handlooms, handicrafts, dress materials, fashion, footwear, health and fitness equipment, toys, books, stationary, FMCG, food products, and many more exhibits from all over India.
The exhibition will be held for 45 days from 4 pm to 9 pm.
