Mangalore : The new building of the post-matric boys’ hostel at Kadri was inaugurated by  District Minister  C T Ravi on  November 1, Thursday. The function was held under the aegis of the district administration, Zilla Panchayat and the Department of Social Welfare the New hostel building has come up at a cost of Rs 1.91 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said the government was according top priority to education.

N Yogish Bhat, MLA, presided over the function. Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP, Monappa Bhandari, MLC, Dr Harish Kumar, MCC Commissioner, Koragappa Naik, ZP President, Amitha Kala, Deputy Mayor,  Vijayaprakash, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive officer and others were present on the occasion.
