Udupi : BJP only focuses on prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi for campaigning and has nothing good to say about local candidate or his previous achievement, said Dhananjay Kumar, JD(S) candidate for Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency.

Addressing the press meet on April 12, Saturday, he said that district need better representative to solve the problems pertaining to state in the parliament.

He also said that only JD(S) is the only party always focuses on the problems of the state, while both Congress and BJP are involved in various scams in state and Centre respectively.

Kumar assured to raise the issue related to areca nut and coconut farmers and also coffee growers in the parliament if he is elected in the upcoming election. He also assured to implement Gorakh Singh Committee Report to help the arecanut farmers in 60 days after being elected.

He also said that BJP and Congress will not cross more than 10 seats each in state and may win these seats with money power to purchase votes.
