Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada Congress condemned the derogatory comment on Kateel goddess on facebook.

Addressing the press reporters DK Congress Interim President Ibrahim Kodijal said that strict action should be taken against those who try to disturb the peace in the society.

“None of the true follower of any religion will comment on any other religion. Because every religion teaches us to, respect other religion. None of the religion tells us to comment on other religion,” he said.

He also condemned the way of protesting against former MP Ramya, by throwing eggs on her car.

“We treat woman as mother. Throwing chappals, eggs and stones doesn’t suits our culture,” he added.

Congress leaders Balaraj Rai, Shashidhar Hegde, T K Sudhir, Naveen D’Souza, N Padmanaba, Mohammed Anif and others were present.
