Mangalore : Members and leaders of the District Congress Committee have gathered at the district party office on May 21, Monday to pay homage to former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi Rajiv Gandhi, on the occasion of his 21st death anniversary.

The members gave a floral tributes to the portrait of the sixth prime minister of India.

On the occasion, Ramanath Rai, president of District Congress Committee has commended Rajiv Gandhi and his achievements as Prime Minister of India and said he was a young and active leader.

Mayor Gulzar Banu, KPCC Secretary Ivan D’Souza, former MLA Vijayakumar Shetty, TK Sudhir and others were also present.
