Mangalore : Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers Union Ltd (DKMUL) Mangalore in association with Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Union Ltd launched the 100gm pack of Mysorepak to the market at the ceremony held at Hotel Maya International on November 18, Thursday.
The launch was held as a part of 57th All India Cooperative Week- 2010 and recognizing Cooperative name as the logo.
Speaking after inaugurating the ceremony, Konkodi Padmanabha, president of Campco Ltd said that if the Cooperative week must become sweet, then all the Cooperative movement must be sweeter. There is necessary to start Cooperative movement in DK.
Further Nandini will tie knot with Campco and manufacture chocolates for Nandini by purchasing their products.
S R Rangamoorthy, former president of Campco launched the 100gm packet of Mysore Pak and said that In the corporate worl, the rich becomes more richer, the poor becomes more poorer and the middle class family lead their life with tension, hence they msut involve themselves in to the Cooperative sector.
He also said that Further they will be competition between India and China, then the problems will arouse to the producers of milk, areca, coco, rubber and other, he informed.
M N Rajendra Kumar, president of SCDCC Bank participated as the chief guest and handed over the launched packet to the dealers.
Raviraj Hegde, president of Dakshina Kannada Cooperative Milk Producers Union welcomed the guests and gathering.
Directors like Kaup Divakar Shetty, K Sitaram Rai, Dr K M Krishna Bhat Konkodi, Padmanabha Shetty Arkaje, Janaki Hande, H Mukund Naik, P R Palangappa and Dr K V Halagappa were present on the dais.
