Mangalore : The DK District Rifle Association will organize a civilian rifle-training course for residents of Puttur, Sullia, Uppinangady, Bantwal and Belthangady in the district from October first week onwards, stated the release.
The citizens interested to participate in the training may obtain the application forms from the offices of Assistant Superintendent of Police, Puttur sub-division, and circle police inspectors at Puttur, Belthangady and Sullia from Saturday and submit the same on or before September 30.
The week-long training will be held during morning hours at Sullia and evening in Puttur after the scrutiny of the application.
