Mangalore : MLA UT Khader said that the leaders of congress party were happy when CM Sadananda Gowda of our district took charge, but till now he has not completed any project which is useful for the district.

Speaking at the District Congress Office on Nov 20, Saturday he said that the state government has not released the fund for any of the permanent development project. The state government is just busy in patch works and crack filling and not bothered to give any permanent solution. Earlier the state government used to release the amount of Rs 40 lakhs for the road repair, but now only 15 lakhs has been released. The contractors are not getting their money sanctioned for the infrastructure work since CM has not given any permission for it.

He also said that various projects which were promised to be completed years ago were still pending approval.

The state government has calculated and moves to release Rs 30,000 per kilometer for patchwork, he asked whether the patch work will last long with such patch works.

DV Sadananda Gowda is criticizing Lokayukta to please B S Yeddyurappa and H D Devegowda. He said that such a statement on Lokayukta is not right and district congress condemns it.

Criticizing the statement given by Madhukar Shetty that some of the Lokayukta officials are corrupt, it doesn mean that Yeddyurappa and Kumaraswamy are innocent, said Khader.
