Mangalore : MLA of Bantwal Ramanath Rai and other Congress leaders paid their floral tribute to the portrait of former prime minister of India Indira Gandhi at Dakshina Kannada Congress Committee (DKCC) office on Oct 31, Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramanath Rai said that Indira Gandhi set off public financial institutions, which have made the country’s economy resilient and stable.

Lauding her personality he said that, Late Mrs Gandhi’s appealing personality has impacted all over the world.
Congress leaders Ivan D’Souza and Moideen Bawa were also present.
