Mangalore : Members of Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists Union (DKWJU) staged a protest in front of DC’s office on Monday September 22, against the alleged attack on journalists that took place in Bidar.

Addressing the protestors, union president P B Harish Rai said that government must take legal action against the goons who are behind the attack and arrests them immediately.

The union demanded the government to provide the compensation to the reporters and cameramen for injuries and destruction of cameras.
Later Union handed over a memorandum to deputy commissioner through the Assistant Deputy Commissioner Sadashiv Prabhu.
