Udupi :  A journalist should present fact based news instead of glorifying news. It is only then there would be some credibility and society will repose faith in the media, said  Rajdeep Sardesai, renowned TV journalist and Chief Editor of CNN-IBN.

Interacting with jstudens of journalism at Manipal School of Communication, he said  the media is creating sensation rather than sense. Mere entertainment and crime is not journalism, he said. Every day is new to a journalist and he should try to bring about novelty in reporting, Sardesai said.
