Mangaluru : Sneha B. S., Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry, Vivekananda PU College, Puttur, has been awarded a Doctorate Degree by the University of Mangalore for her thesis titled “Study of Absorption Behaviour on Plant Based Activated Carbon”.

She has presented this thesis under the guidance of Dr. B. Narayana, Emeritus Professor, Mangalore University and current Vice Chancellor of Nalanda University, Bihar. She is the daughter of Shivaram Bhat and Saraswati, Sankapitlu of Sullia taluk and the wife of Shivaram Bhat, Marakkur.

The college management, principal and teaching and non-teaching staff have congratulated her on her achievement.
