New Delhi: The 2G Spectrum scam running into lakhs of crores of rupees as per CAG report, has taken a new turn, with criminal king Dawood Ibrahim sheltered in Pakistan, having a side role in it.  The CBI about to examine that aspect of economic crimes in India, has been threatened by an attack from the underworld (ex-Mumbai) Don recently.
The Mumbai CBI branch has received information on the notorious ‘D-Company’ of Dawood that it was plan to attack the Delhi CBI main office, to destroy all valid documents relating to 2G Spectrum relating to it. Firm security net has been extended to the Delhi CBI Office, in view of the impending threat of devastation.
The building that houses 2G spectrum documents is under commando vigil now. Home ministry and National vigilance squads are kept informed of developments. The alert information was given 3 weeks ago.
Secret Intelligence reports say that Dawood had managed to participate by proxy, in Indian Companies deals during 2G Spectrum purchases. Dawood is suspected to be having a share in the Swan Teclecom Co., run by Shahid Balwa.
CBI had arrested Shahid balwa on Feb.8 last in this connection. Enough information has been collected on the links between Balwa and Dawood. According to an anonymous source in CBI, investigation is under way about the possible storming of CBI office and some safety measures have been taken up already to counter the attacks if any.
