It is said that donors can drop off groceries ( rice, dal, oil, pulses, jaggery, spices and vegetables etc) at the collection centre.

The grocery collection centre has been set up by MCC to ensure there is no shortage of daily essentials for people.

A Bengaluru-based software engineer donated 5 quintals of rice at the collection centre, , set up by the district administration, at Smart City building here on Monday, March 30.

Since last three days, the city of Mangaluru has observed a total bandh in order to contain spread coronavirus. The MCC is in process of arranging supply of essentials to doorsteps of residents.
