Bengalur :  Revenue Minister Mr R Ashoka said, “It is our duty to follow the Supreme Court directive. However, the Apex court has given a lot of options which need to be considered before demolition.

Speaking to the media, he said, I have already held discussion with the Chief Minister on the issue and the government will soon come out with a decision on this by respecting the SC directive as well as public sentiment. Meanwhile, I have asked all the deputy commissioners not to go for a unilateral decision on demolition without exploring the possibilities. It is better to think of alternatives first.”
