Moodbidri: Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Pejawar Mutt said on Wednesday that he could not say much on the decision of the freedom fighter and centenarian H.S. Doreswamy not to attend the 14th edition of Alva’s Nudisiri function to be held at Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada from December 1 to 3, and receive the Nudisiri award there. Mr. Doreswamy had cited ideological differences for his decision.

To queries of mediapersons here, the seer said that he knew Mr. Doreswamy.

He had sat besides him at a function a couple of years ago and also talked to him.

“What has the Dharma Sansad go to do with Alva’s Nudisiri? But it is Mr. Doreswamy’s wish. If he does not wish to go to Nudisiri, what can one do? It is his decision,” he said.
