Puttur:  Residents of Kodimbala in Puttur are in a state of shock after the murder of an elderly couple has been reported from the place on the morning of September 26, Wednesday.

If Baby Thomas(65) was found dead in his car, the body of his wife Mary (55) was found lying in a pool of blood inside the house.

Police said they were killed using sharp edged weapons. Sniffer dogs have been pressed into service and there is a suspicion that it might be a murder for gain. The couple who hailed from Thamarassery in Kozhikode district of Kerala were residing in Kodimbala since the past one and a half years.
