New Delhi: Seetharam Jindal Foundation that has established the national award, a prestigious one, named the Jindal award, has decided to confer this year’s award, it is reliably learnt, on Dhrmasthala Dharmadhikari(Pontiff), and well-known social welfare activist, Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade. The formal announcement is expected soon.

Dr. Heggade gets the award for his system of healing diseases by naturopathy, without medicines or Surgery. The foundation has finalized several other awards in the fields of rural development science, and peace also education and medicine-less treatment for health. The date of awarding all these prizes has not been announced, but they will be given in New Delhi before a distinguished audience.

The Shantivana Trust run by Dr. Heggade, is rendering great service to people at large in DK, Karnataka and India, in medical relief for obesity, diabetes and other diseases, by diseases, by dieting, yogic exercises, and a disciplined regimen in living ways.
