Mangaluru: While answering Janardhana Poojary’s question raised on Indira Gandhi’s centenary birth celebration, state Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar said that the programme is being organised on the instruction of high command, in fact the programme was supposed to be taken place at Raichur, but due to draught it has been shifted to Mangaluru.

Janardhan Poojary had asked that 133 taluks of Karnataka are draught hit and the government is celebrating the birth anniversary of Indhira Gandhi, is it right?

Further Parameshwar said “I attended Janardhan Reddy’s daughter’s marriage on humanity basis. No need of politicising the matter. He invited me after coming to my house, how can I reject the invitation?” he said.

Further “it is the best salary hike in the country in police department. Even the other state officials also asking about Ouradhkar report,” hr added.
