Manjeshwar: Renowed Kannada writer, poet, critique Dr KV Thirumalesh will be conferred with Rashtrakavi Govinda Pai Memorial Endowment Award 2016.

He has written more than 30 valuable books in Kannada. Poetry anthologies like Mukhavadagalu, Vatara, Mahaprasthana, Avadha and others are well-known for their language and literature.

Some of his memorable works include, Nayaka Mattu Ithararu, Kalli Gidada Hu, Kavya Karana and others. He was also conferred with Kendra Sahitya Academy Award in 2016 and with many other awards.
