Mangalore: A highly experience economist and professor and head of the department of economics in St. Aloysius College have been elected as vice-president of All India Federation of University and College Teachers Organisations (AIFUCTO). Dr. Lobo is an author of 13 books on economics subjects and over 50 articles published in journals of repute in India and abroad and have conducted 550 workshops on economic subject as a resource person.

He as a rich experience of teaching generations of students in Mangalore and else were.  He has appeared on TV and participated in radio programs depth of experience on teaching economics the student and general public under various activities. He has also served as the editor of AMUCT Bulletin for over 5 years.
