Muscat: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, will be accorded a grand felicitation on behalf of the Tuluva and Kannada community of Oman  at the Grand Hall of Al Falaj Hotel, Muscat  on September 27.

A variety of cultural programmes and a Yakshagana show will also be organized as part of the function which is expected to be attended by thousands of Tuluvas and Kannadigas.

This is Dr Heggade’s maiden visit to Muscat, under the aegis of Indian Social Club, Muscat. During his visit, Dr Heggade will also be addressing the Indian community and will delve on various social, welfare and developmental works.

So far Dr Heggade has bagged several awards and the latest one being the International Gold Award by Ashden for Global Green Energy 2012 in London.
