Mangaluru: Senior KAS Officer Dr Vijay Prakash has been appointed as personal assistant of Minister for fisheries and sports Pramod Madhwaraj.

Dr Vijay Prakash earlier served as Mangaluru City Corporation commissioner, ZP CEO. Developmental works gained speed during his tenure. He worked hard to increase the number of beneficiaries of rural development schemes.

He never said no to the people who came to him seeking help. His way of working was inspiring to others.

He also served as personal assistant of Bangarappa and Krishna Palemar also.

He was well known for his fearless reports on any departments. He is a soft spoken and kind hearted officer.
