Madikeri :  A meeting of the Bhagandeshwara-Talakaveri Temple Management Committee held here  on Thursday, has decided to enforce a dress code for devotees visiting the temple.The meeting was chaired by Speaker KG Bopaiah.

It was decided that devotees particularly women have to follow the dress code and should wear only salvar kameez or saree while visiting the temple and that their body should be fully covered. It was also decide to prevent entry of  women arriving at the temple wearing sleeveless dress, skirts, jeans and T-Shirts.

Addanda Karyappa, President of Kodava Sahitya Academy, suggested setting up of a security squad on behalf of the temple to prevent people from spoiling the sanctity of the Talacauvery and Brahmagiri Hills by  illegally entering the land and littering the area.

Manu Muttappa, Temple Committee President, ZP Chief Shanteyunda Ravi Kushalappa,  Narayanachar, Chief Priest and others attended the meeting.
