Kasargod : In a shocking incident, a driver of the ambulance was found stuck in the vehicle entire night after he lost control over the vehicle and landed in a pothole near Manjeshwar on September 16, Tuesday night.

The injured driver of ambulance has been identified as Prasad (30), hailing from Kasargod.

It is learnt that, Prasad was on its way back to Kasargod in the ambulance after dropping a pregnant woman to a hospital in Mangalore. When he reached Manjeshwar, suddenly he lost control over the Ambulance and in order to escape from hitting the vehicle coming from opposite direction he took a side and finally landed in a pothole and went unconsciousness.

Although many passerby and passengers spotted the ambulance during the night, they were unaware of the driver being trapped inside it.

The incident came into light only after Prasad gained consciousness the next morning and revealed the incident. Prasad is said to have sustained with minor injuries and was rescued immediately by the locals.
