Mangaluru: Karnataka Dalit Sangharsha Samiti staged protest against the atrocities on Dalit and derogatory statement of the suspended BJP MP Dayashankar Singh, on Monday in front of DC Office.
Addressing the gathering Boudha Mahasabha Dammachari, S R laxman said that the atrocities on Dalit’s has reached peak level. There is no one who could stop this. Situations forces Dalit’s to fight for their rights.
“The atrocities in Gujarat have written a new definition to the dominance of higher caste people. They not just assaulted Dalit’s, it was an assault on entire mankind,” he said.
He further said that the Mayavati has strived for the development of Dalit’s. “She followed the thoughts of Dr B R Ambedkar. BJP MP Dayashankar Singh’s statement on her is highly condemnable. DSS condemns such statements strongly,” he added.
He urged the governor to take strict action on both the matters on the basis of constitutional rights.
