Mangaluru : After a video of a woman was seen throwing garbage over the fence of Netravati bridge gone viral on social media Kankanady police seized the car and filed a case on Saturday May 1.

Mangaluru City Corporation senior health officer filed the complaint against the incident.

The police have also requested the district magistrate to file case under Disaster management Act.

It may be recalled, in the viral video, a lady was seen coming out from a car registration number KA 03 NB 4648  and hurling a plastic full of garbage over the fence into Netravati river.

The video enraged netizens and many demanded the culprits to be booked.
