Mangaluru: Passenger train services on the Konkan Railway route are being regulated following the front trolley of Locomotive of Train No. 12224 Ernakulam – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Duronto Express derailing at 3:03pm on Thursday. The incident happened between Sawantwadi Road and Zarap stations of Ratnagiri region. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Trains rescheduled: Train No. 10112 Madgaon – Mumbai CSMT of Thursday with a scheduled departure at 4.45pm has been rescheduled to leave Madgaon at 7:15pm with a delay of 150 minutes. Train No. 11004 Sawantwadi Road – Dadar of Thursday scheduled departure 5:30pm has been rescheduled to leave Sawantwadi Road at 7.30pm, a delay of 120 minutes. Train No. 22116 Karmali – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus of Thursday scheduled to depart at 1pm was rescheduled to leave Karmali at 7pm, a delay of six hours.
Trains regulated: Train No. 01080 Kochuveli – Mumbai CSMT of Wednesday has been regulated at Pernem Station from 3:15pm and Train No. 12051 Dadar – Madgaon of Thursday is regulated at Nandgaon station from 3:08pm.
Accident Relief Medical Van (ARMV) and Accident Relief Trains (ARTs) have departed from Ratnagiri and Verna respectively and will reach site shortly for relief and restoration.
